Dear Piper,
Okay I've been talking to this boy since I was 13. And I'm 18 now. We've been together the whole five years, off and on, but we just recently broke up. I'm not completely over him, but now he has a new girlfriend and I see them together everyday. Sometimes I just want to run and cry and I'm depressed all the time. So would it be wrong if I break them up to get back what I once had? Or should I just let it go and find someone else?

Dear Blade Icewood,
I'll be brief because it's a holiday weekend. Is it wrong to purposefully break a couple up? Yes. Would you get back what you once had? Nope...you can't go home again, Blade. It wouldn't be the same; it might be better, it might be worse, it definitely would be colored by the fact that you intentionally helped to end what he was involved in beforehand. Let it (him) go and it (he) may eventually find its (his) way back to you. Then you can give it another go with a clear conscience.
